POSITION OVERVIEW

JOB SUMMARY:

UWF Explore Summer Camps is an academic-based summer camp program offering a variety of summer camp themes each week from Explore Hogwarts to LEGO Robotics.

A program assistant is needed to work in the camp office preparing necessary supplies prior to summer, maintaining inventory and creating shopping lists for each camp program. During the summer the job includes the setup and breakdown of necessary supplies, signs, and other needs for the camps each week. Additional duties may include running reports, sending emails, and preparing weekly paperwork and nametags.

Position is 10-15 hours a week during the spring semester and up to 25 hours during the summer semester. Shifts vary, but will be between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must be a student enrolled for credit. Applicants may be a student at UWF or any other college, university or high school. A student enrolled at an institution other than UWF must provide proof of attendance by submitting a registration/fee payment receipt from the school they will attend.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Effective time management and detail-oriented skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team to accomplish tasks.
Experience in inventory control.
