The UWF Center for Cybersecurity and AI is seeking an individual, who is eager to learn and is well-organized, to support our expanding Cybersecurity Workforce Development (WD) programs. The individual will provide program management support and report to the program coordinator.
Responsibilities May Include:
● Develop, review, and refine program materials (e.g., presentations, reports, flyers).
● Manage program email communications and respond to website inquiries.
● Provide administrative and operational support to the Program Coordinator and team on program related tasks.
● Create and issue digital badges to program participants.
● Moderate and manage the program’s Discord platform, including setting up bots and distributing communications.
● Support data management activities, including maintaining student rosters, tracking program metrics, and assisting with application systems (e.g., Reviewr).
● Design and distribute surveys using Qualtrics to collect program feedback and data.
● Assist faculty with grading and course-related administrative tasks.
● Perform other duties as assigned.
Applicants must be a student enrolled for credit. Applicants may be a student at UWF or any other college, university or high school. A student enrolled at an institution other than UWF must provide proof of attendance by submitting a registration/fee payment receipt from the school they will attend.
Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at the University of West Florida. All majors with related experience are welcome to apply. Must be available to work up to 10 – 20 hours per week.
Excellent time management, organizational, and communications skills are extremely helpful. Some experience with program coordination, including data entry, managing spreadsheets, and developing program materials, is preferred.
