POSITION OVERVIEW

JOB SUMMARY:

This position provides administrative, marketing, social media, public relations and other tasks, as requested. Assistance with set-up and tabling or assisting our departments with such. Contact with students, campus partners, contracted partners, and potentially, licensed vendors. Reports to the Associate Director, Business and Auxiliary Services (Campus Services).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must be a student enrolled for credit. Applicants may be a student at UWF or any other college, university or high school. A student enrolled at an institution other than UWF must provide proof of attendance by submitting a registration/fee payment receipt from the school they will attend.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Student in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Digital Storytelling, Journalism or similar program with proficient skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and Microsoft Office. Public speaking experience a plus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in a professional setting completing graphic design or social media projects. Outgoing personality. Skilled in customer service. Understand how to use office machines, such as a copier, printer, paper cutter, etc.

  • Physical Requirements: Occasional and/or light lifting required. Limited exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc., but none to the point of being disagreeable. May involve minor safety hazards where likely results would be cuts, bruises, etc.
