POSITION OVERVIEW

JOB SUMMARY:

The OPS Office Assistant will assist within the departments of the College of Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities by providing clerical support. This position assists with a variety of office tasks, including customer service, scheduling appointments, ordering office supplies, answering/routing phone calls, preparing materials for meetings or special events, data entry, and general administrative functions. The Office Assistant may serve as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors, providing professional assistance and support while helping maintain organized and effective office operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A high school diploma and one year of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Office experience working in a higher education setting.
